Eliassen Group is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to drive cloud architecture for hybrid on‑prem to AWS deployments. You will guide design, security, and verification across multiple clusters and GovCloud contexts.

The role emphasizes integration, V&V, and secure cloud migrations, with a focus on DevSecOps, AI-assisted engineering, and Scaled Agile collaboration. This is a W2 role with strong benefits and compensatory packages.

Qualifications

• Cloud architecture experience for hybrid on-prem to AWS environments.
• Experience with ECS, EKS, and OpenShift in production settings.
• Security engineering for FISMA FedRAMP High or equivalent.
• Networking design for ALB, WAF, PrivateLink, and secure end-points.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical planning and cloud architecture for hybrid on-prem to AWS designs across VPCs and multiple clusters.
• Conduct platform trade studies and sizing for ECS, EKS, and OpenShift with cost modeling.
• Drive integration, verification, and fielding within high-security boundaries such as GovCloud.
• Design security architecture with trust boundaries and SSP/ATO mappings.
• Engineer networking patterns including ALB, WAF, PrivateLink, and endpoints.
• Own requirements development and author technical papers and papers.
