The role requires hands‑on experience with ECS/EKS/OpenShift, Kubernetes, and DevSecOps practices, and a willingness to operate within regulated environments under a W2 arrangement.

Qualifications

• Cloud architecture and technical planning for hybrid on‑prem to AWS systems.
• Hands-on with ECS, EKS, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Helm, policies and pipelines.
• Experience with regulated environments (FISMA High, FedRAMP High).
• Security architecture and SSP/ATO mapping experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud architecture for hybrid on‑prem to AWS designs across multiple clusters.
• Conduct platform trade studies for ECS, EKS, and OpenShift with cost/effort modeling.
• Drive integration, verification, and fielding within FISMA High boundaries; GovCloud cutover.
• Design security architecture with trust boundaries and segmentation.
• Engineer networking patterns including ALB, WAF, PrivateLink, endpoints.
• Own requirements development and technical writing; author papers and white papers.
• Provide system and software design guidance within Scaled Agile teams.
• Lead integration of Java/microservices and cloud-native development in Linux environments.
• Apply DevSecOps practices: CI/CD, SBOM, image signing, secrets management.
• Incorporate AI-assisted engineering for coding, testing, and analysis.
