Job summary

A technology firm is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and integrate secure computing environments supporting critical mission objectives. The role requires experience in full-stack development, AWS services, and Infrastructure-as-Code tools. Ideal candidates will collaborate with cross-functional teams and possess strong scripting skills. Preferred certifications include AWS Certified Solutions Architect. This position is based in Washington, D.C.

Qualifications

• Experience in AWS, including EC2, Lambda, S3, and Step Functions.
• Proven experience leading or mentoring development teams.
• Experience with web servers (Apache, Tomcat, Nginx) and web technologies (HTML, CSS).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy secure enclave applications and supporting infrastructure.
• Implement and integrate open-source solutions within CentOS/RHEL environments.
• Build and manage cloud-based infrastructure using AWS services.

Skills

Full-stack development experience within CentOS/RHEL

Strong scripting background (Bash, Python)

Experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3)

Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible)

Solid understanding of microservices and containerization

Proficiency with Git/GitHub and CI/CD tools
