Job summary

Target is seeking a Lead Engineer to own the Cloud Security Platform and CSPM capabilities across public and private clouds. You will translate posture signals into actionable controls and partner with developers to scale security across Target's cloud footprint.

You will lead design, deployment, tuning, and ongoing operation of CSPM/CNAPP, drive policy and workflow improvements, and mentor engineers while collaborating with security, product, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years in technology with cloud security and CSPM/CNAPP experience.
• Experience owning a security/platform capability end-to-end at enterprise scale.
• Hands-on CSPM deployment, policy tuning, and onboarding of cloud accounts.
• Strong collaboration with security, product engineering, and leadership.
• Proven ability to deliver platform improvements with measurable impact.

Responsibilities

• Own CSPM/CNAPP platform across public and private clouds, including RBAC and SSO.
• Lead integration of posture signals into enterprise remediation dashboards with SLAs.
• Drive platform automation, self-service, and developer-friendly controls.
• Mentor engineers and set technical direction for the CSPM platform.
• Represent work to senior leadership with clear risks and tradeoffs.
