Job summary

Coherent Solutions seeks an experienced Cloud Security Engineer to strengthen cloud security posture across GCP and AWS, focusing on runtime sensors, policy development, and incident response. The role requires hands-on CNAPP/CSPM experience and expertise with WAFs, Terraform, and security tooling.

You will manage edge security with Cloudflare, tuning rules against production traffic and guiding teams in secure configurations.

Qualifications

5+ years of cloud security or platform engineering with a security focus.
Experience with CNAPP/CSPM platforms such as Wiz, Prisma Cloud or Google Cloud security tools.
Hands-on admin for WAF, CDN, and bot-management at scale.
Strong Terraform experience for security tooling and WAF config.
Experience routing security signals to SIEM and integrating alerts.

Responsibilities

Own and improve cloud security posture across GCP orgs and AWS accounts, incl. runtime sensor deployment and policy development.
Operate and evolve edge security: Cloudflare WAF, bot management, rate limiting, DNS/TLS, and origin routing.
Tune security rules using production traffic and support other teams using edge-security tooling.
Support vulnerability management: Wiz, SAST, SCA, remediation baselines, and vendor coordination.
Participate in security incident response for cloud events, DDoS, supply-chain alerts, credential exposure.
