A cybersecurity and IT consultancy is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Security Engineer in Baltimore, Maryland. In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of secure cloud infrastructures, ensuring the protection of systems and applications. You will also collaborate with teams to establish best security practices and provide guidance on cloud security strategies. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in cloud security engineering and strong problem-solving abilities, among other relevant qualifications.

Qualifications

• Ten years of experience in cybersecurity or IT.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud security engineering.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, GCP or OCI security services.
• Proficiency in scripting languages.
• Knowledge of containerization security.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure cloud infrastructure.
• Establish and maintain security configurations for cloud platforms.
• Develop and manage threat detection and response strategies.
• Lead investigation of cloud security incidents.
• Assess cloud systems for compliance with security policies.
