Job summary

Coherent Solutions, Inc. seeks a Cloud Security Engineer to help secure a travel-tech platform. You will own and enhance cloud security posture across GCP and AWS, implement runtime sensors, and develop secure configurations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cloud security or platform engineering with a security focus.
• Hands-on CNAPP/CSPM experience (prefer Wiz) and policy authoring.
• Experience with WAF/CDN/bot-management at scale and Terraform configuration.
• Vulnerability management across cloud, containers, and code; remediation tracking.
• Ability to route security signals to SIEM and integrate alerts with PagerDuty/Slack.
• Scripting in Python or Bash for automation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve cloud security posture across GCP and AWS, including runtime sensor deployment.
• Operate edge security via Cloudflare WAF, bot management, rate limiting, DNS/TLS.
• Tune rules, manage allow-list requests, and enable teams to use edge-security tooling.
• Support vulnerability management, Wiz intake, SAST/DSA, and remediation baselines.
• Participate in cloud security incident response, including DDoS, credential exposure, and runbooks.
• Own SCA/SBOM tooling, publish security reports, and map controls to frameworks.
• Enable self-service security by training teams and automating reporting through scripts.
• Advise on platform integrations and contribute to cloud-security roadmap.
