Job summary

Bayview Asset Management is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to design, implement, and operate security controls across our cloud environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to safeguard workloads and data while enabling secure business delivery.

The role demands strong experience with CSPM, CNAPP, and IaC in AWS/Azure. The candidate will develop guardrails via policy as code, support incident response, and contribute to cloud security standards across the organization.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of experience in information security, cloud engineering, systems engineering, or related tech roles, incl. hands-on AWS/Azure security.
• Experience administering CSPM, CNAPP, or cloud workload protection and remediation.
• Experience implementing cloud guardrails, policy as code, and IaC in enterprise clouds.
• Experience creating security standards, baselines, and secure patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls and reference architectures for cloud environments (IaaS, PaaS, containers, serverless).
• Manage CSPM tools, onboarding, policy tuning, findings validation, risk reporting, remediation coordination.
• Build and maintain guardrails via policy as code and IaC, automated checks, and cloud-native policy services.
• Develop cloud security standards, baselines, patterns and procedures aligned with regulatory obligations.
• Embed security requirements into landing zones, CI/CD pipelines, templates, and designs.
• Review IAM, network segmentation, encryption, key management, logging, data protection.
