Job summary

Apex Systems is seeking a Technical Security Consultant to act as a technical security leader for cloud and infrastructure solutions. You will own security design, drive deployments, and collaborate with customers on configuration and integration of product entitlements.

The role requires extensive security engineering experience, strong coding skills, and the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance. Travel up to 25% domestically is expected as part of project delivery and customer onboarding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in large-scale system architecture and global infrastructure deployment.
• 2+ years in security engineering and 5+ years coding in one or more languages.
• Ability to obtain/maintain TS/SCI clearance.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Disambiguate, break down, and drive solutions to security problems with minimal oversight.
• Manage and deliver engineering projects with stakeholders and timelines.
• Design and deliver scalable security solutions and custom assets to meet complex objectives.
• Define and drive long-term security strategies and roadmaps.
• Lead product deployment and assist with configuration/integration of entitlements.
