Job summary

Version 1 Solutions Limited is seeking a hands-on Security Consultant who combines deep technical delivery with strong client-facing consulting skills. You will assess, design, improve and govern security controls across cloud, applications, APIs, and infrastructure, challenging assumptions to drive secure outcomes.

You will lead security architecture reviews across cloud, IAM, data protection and detection/response, while embedding security into delivery pipelines and IaC.

Qualifications

• Experience building and reviewing security controls in cloud environments.
• Ability to design secure cloud landing zones and IAM models.
• Proven consulting experience with client-facing delivery.

Responsibilities

• Assess, design, improve and govern security controls across cloud, apps, APIs and infrastructure.
• Lead security architecture reviews and remediation roadmaps.
• Provide expert consulting on security strategy, risk reduction and operating models.
• Challenge assumptions with evidence-based recommendations.
• Embed security into delivery pipelines and IaC practices.
• Support threat detection and incident response readiness.
