Fuze Health is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to strengthen security across systems, cloud, and applications. You will collaborate with multiple teams to promote strong controls and perform architectural reviews.

You will automate security tasks with Python, lead vulnerability management, help with audits, and participate in on‑call rotations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of security engineering with focus on infrastructure, app and cloud security.
• Hands-on Kubernetes (K8s) and container security in production.
• Proficiency in scripting/automation (Python, Bash, Terraform or similar).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
• BS degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, GIAC).
• Willingness to travel within the US on occasion.

Responsibilities

• Align security controls across teams and promote architecture reviews.
• Review designs to assess security posture and conduct threat modeling.
• Develop automation to integrate systems using Python and related tools.
• Write documentation including policies and procedures.
• Oversee vulnerability scanning across networks, containers, and cloud.
• Design security controls for servers, cloud environments and containers.
• Support audits and compliance initiatives (HiTrust, ISO 27001).
• Participate in on-call roster.
