Job summary

Fuze Health is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to help safeguard our cloud-native platforms and on-prem systems across the enterprise.

You will partner with multiple teams to align security controls, review designs, automate security tasks in Python, and drive vulnerability management and audits.

This role requires hands-on Kubernetes security, scripting expertise, and the ability to work under pressure. Travel within the US may be required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in security engineering with focus on infrastructure, application and cloud security.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes in production environments.
• Proficiency in scripting/automation (Python, Bash, Terraform or similar).
• Strong communication and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• BS degree in CS or related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teams to implement strong security controls.
• Review designs for threat modeling and security posture.
• Develop automation to integrate security tooling.
• Lead vulnerability management across environments.
• Support audits and compliance initiatives (HiTrust, ISO 27001).
