Job summary

Accenture Federal Services in Washington, DC seeks a security-focused professional to support the security of a large hybrid on-premise and multi-cloud environment, review cloud authorization packages, and assist with Authority to Operate (ATO) decisions for cloud offerings under evaluation.

You will perform continuous monitoring of CSP environments for security and compliance, provide cloud security architecture guidance for new and existing workloads, and support container and serverless

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in cloud security, FedRAMP, or continuous monitoring.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS/IT/Cybersecurity.
• Experience with AWS and/or Azure security services and tooling.
• Familiarity with FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Review cloud authorization packages (e.g., FedRAMP) and support ATO recommendations.
• Monitor CSP environments for security configuration, compliance, and drift.
• Provide cloud security architecture guidance for new and existing workloads.
• Support container and serverless workload security, including image scanning.
• Support incident response and remediation for cloud-hosted systems.
• Monitor cost and usage patterns and recommend security-focused optimizations.
• Maintain documentation of cloud security controls and architecture decisions.
• Assist with periodic security assessments and audits.
