Job summary

Iterable is hiring for a Security Engineer role within the Security Engineering team. You will help move security to the next level by improving cloud security capabilities, working with automation, and supporting product teams with secure design.

The role emphasizes DevSecOps, IaC scanning, and proactive security across the full development lifecycle, ensuring secure and compliant deployments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on in Cloud Security, SRE, DevOps, DevSecOps, or Infra Engineering.
• Strong Kubernetes experience and Helm/ArgoCD.
• Production AWS experience (IAM, SCPs, VPCs, ELB, CloudTrail, Security Groups).
• Proficiency with Terraform.
• Experience with GitHub or GitLab workflows.
• Knowledge of cloud security vulnerabilities and AWS security practices.

Responsibilities

• Review designs and code with engineers to identify security issues.
• Propose architectural improvements to address security vulnerabilities.
• Develop and implement cloud/security architecture and roadmaps.
• Contribute to automated security testing tools and CI integrations.
• Promote DevSecOps and IaC scanning via Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
• Coordinate and participate in cloud penetration tests.
