Job summary

Iterable, Inc. is seeking a Security Engineer to advance cloud security across the product lifecycle. You will work with a dynamic Security Engineering team to design secure architectures, automate testing, and strengthen our posture in a multi-cloud environment.

You will implement security into CI/CD pipelines, drive DevSecOps practices, and contribute to roadmaps while collaborating with engineering, SRE, and IT teams. Join a growth-focused, inclusive culture with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience in Cloud Security, SRE, DevOps, DevSecOps, or Infra Engineering.
• Strong Kubernetes know-how and related tooling (helm, ArgoCD).
• Production AWS services experience (IAM, VPCs, SCPs, CloudTrail, ELB, Security Groups).
• Proficiency with Terraform.
• Experience building or modifying Github/Gitlab workflows.
• Solid cloud security best practices and threat awareness.
• Proficiency in Python or Go.
• Familiarity with policy tools such as OPA or Kyverno.
• SRE experience and JVM/Scala exposure.
• Familiarity with Datadog or Prometheus/Grafana.
• Experience with AWS EKS.

Responsibilities

• Review system designs with engineers to identify security issues and ensure remediation aligns with security standards.
• Propose architecture improvements addressing security vulnerabilities across cloud and infrastructure.
• Develop and implement cloud security architecture and contribute to strategy and roadmaps.
• Participate in selecting and managing automated security testing tools such as CSPMs and image scanners.
• Integrate security into CI pipelines and promote shift-left practices.
• Promote DevSecOps and IaC scanning with Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalents.
• Coordinate and participate in cloud service penetration tests.
