Job summary

Dalio Family Office is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to design, deploy, and secure AWS and Azure environments with a strong IaC focus. You will automate security across the SDLC, build secure pipelines, and centralize telemetry in Defender for Cloud.

The role emphasizes protection of mission-critical workloads, Kubernetes hardening, and governing artifacts while collaborating with security and cloud teams in a hybrid NYC office setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in DevSecOps / Cloud Engineering delivering and securing production AWS and Azure environments.
• 3+ years operating enterprise-scale platforms with reliability engineering and incident response.
• Advanced IaC expertise with Terraform (CloudFormation/Bicep preferred).

Responsibilities

• Embed security-by-design across the SDLC with automated controls and measurable security outcomes.
• Deliver a secure, compliant AWS/Azure cloud foundation with strong data protection and key management.
• Harden container and Kubernetes platforms with policy enforcement and runtime protection.
• Build and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines with SAST/SCA, IaC + container scanning, secret detection, and policy gates.
• Enforce software supply-chain security (SBOMs, signed images, provenance) and route telemetry into Defender for Cloud.
• Secure AWS/Azure workloads across identity, network, compute, and storage; implement encryption and retention.
• Operate AWS KMS / Azure Key Vault and use Defender for Cloud for CSPM/CWPP, threat detection, and compliance.
• Harden AKS/EKS with OPA/Gatekeeper and govern artifacts via Artifactory.
