Job summary

Coupa seeks a Senior Security Manager to lead multi-cloud security initiatives across the enterprise, product, and platform. You will own complex security problems, shape engineering standards, and mentor engineers in root-cause analysis and secure design.

The role requires 5+ years in security engineering or cloud operations, hands-on in AWS/GCP/Azure, scripting, and CI/CD guardrails. You will partner with IT, Compliance, and Risk teams to demonstrate audit readiness and implement scalable

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in security engineering or cloud operations.
• Hands-on with multi-cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure) and IAM, networking, and misconfigurations.
• Strong scripting/automation in Python, Bash, or JavaScript.
• Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and CI/CD integration.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, FedRAMP).
• Excellent problem solving and root-cause analysis abilities.
• Clear written and verbal communication for remediation guidance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement multi-cloud security controls across Coupa's cloud environment.
• Build policy as code and IaC guardrails integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
• Harden containerized workloads and Kubernetes clusters with security controls.
• Own vulnerability analysis of packages, images, and dependencies; triage by impact.
• Design and implement remediations including secure code fixes and IAM changes.
• Support incident response and forensics with log analysis and remediation validation.
• Partner with Risk & Compliance to provide evidence for audits (SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, FedRAMP).
• Mentor other security engineers and participate in on-call rotations.
