Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to provide comprehensive security engineering and sustainment support for the Agency’s cloud, hybrid-cloud, and on-premise environments, ensuring compliance with federal standards and best practices.

You will architect and deploy secure baselines, maintain documentation, monitor logging, control costs, and support audits and training to sustain the security posture over time.

Qualifications

• 7 years in sysadmin, DBA, network, software engineering, or security-focused development.
• AWS Certified Security – Specialty; AWS Certified SysOps Administrator; AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate.
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional; AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty.

Responsibilities

• Architect, engineer, deploy, and sustain secure cloud/hybrid/on-premise apps and systems; review architectural designs for secure implementation.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain secure baselines for all cloud and on-premise systems per federal mandates.
• Create and maintain SOPs, policies, diagrams, code documentation, and security baselines.
• Ensure comprehensive log collection and monitoring; optimize logging to improve performance.
• Develop and maintain continuous monitoring for availability, performance, security, and response.
• Monitor cloud expenditures and provide cost-optimization recommendations; operate the monitoring tool suite.
• Support audits and provide training to sustain security knowledge.
• Manage access requests, change-impact analysis, and ticketing for the hybrid-cloud environment.
