Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Cloud Engineer to deliver secure cloud platform implementations for government clients. The role emphasizes enterprise-scale infrastructure design, automation, and security across multiple platforms in a controlled environment.

You will work in an Agile setting, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor others while driving ownership and technical excellence. A TS/SCI level security posture is required.

Qualifications

• 3 years of cloud engineering and/or infrastructure experience, including enterprise or government environments.
• 2 years' experience implementing secure cloud architectures for enterprise or government environments.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and/or DevOps practices.
• Experience with containerization and/or orchestration technologies.
• CompTIA Security+ (current) or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, scalable cloud architectures across platforms using program templates and best practices.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code for repeatable deployments.
• Configure and optimize cloud security controls and compliance measures.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and improve performance.
• Operate within an Agile framework with sprints, standups, and planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in fast-paced development cycles.
• Drive continuous improvement in processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Mentor team members and propagate knowledge across the organization.
• Lead by example with ownership, accountability, and innovation.
• Support security audits and compliance assessments for government requirements.
