Job summary

ACI Worldwide is hiring a Sr. Security Engineer in Norcross, GA to design, implement, and support enterprise security across cloud and on‑prem environments.

You’ll own security configurations, incident response, and runbooks while collaborating with engineering, data/AI, and operations teams. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in security engineering or operations, strong IAM and encryption knowledge, and hands‑on experience with AWS/Azure cloud security and SIEM/SOAR tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/Cybersecurity or related field; equivalent practical experience considered.
• 5+ years of experience in security engineering and/or security operations with hands-on delivery.
• Strong working knowledge of IAM, encryption, network security, secure logging, telemetry, configuration hardening, and vulnerability/risk remediation.
• Experience implementing and supporting security controls in at least one major cloud environment; AWS and Azure preferred.
• Experience with security operations processes and tooling (SIEM/SOAR, detection engineering, alert triage, incident support, security scanning, runbooks).
• Ability to translate security findings into practical engineering improvements and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and continuously improve secure configurations and guardrails across enterprise and cloud environments.
• Engineer, administer, and support enterprise security technologies (endpoint security, vulnerability management, SIEM/logging, identity management, monitoring).
• Drive remediation of security findings by prioritizing issues and improving repeatable control patterns.
• Build, operate, and enhance security operations capabilities including incident response playbooks and runbooks.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical leadership across the team.
