Job summary

ACI Worldwide is seeking a Sr. Security Engineer in Norcross, GA to design, implement, and support enterprise security capabilities across cloud and on-prem environments. You will partner with engineering, data/AI, and operations teams to reduce risk, improve detection, and support audits.

The role emphasizes security operations, incident response, documentation, and mentoring of others while delivering scalable security controls and secure-by-default patterns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, MIS or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in security engineering and/or security operations.
• Strong knowledge of IAM, encryption, network security, and secure logging/telemetry.

Responsibilities

• Design secure configurations and guardrails across enterprise and cloud environments.
• Engineer, administer, and support security technologies including SIEM/logging and monitoring.
• Lead remediation of security findings and strengthen repeatable controls.
• Develop and maintain documentation, runbooks, and audit artifacts.
• Participate in incident investigations and on-call rotations.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical leadership.
