Job summary

Qualifications

• 4+ years building distributed and scalable software and systems.
• Proficiency in Go and SQL.
• Experience with Kubernetes and delivering containerized services.
• Networking and security controls experience is a plus.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and infrastructure as code tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible.
• General TCP/IP networking knowledge.
• Willingness to constantly learn and keep up with tech trends.

Responsibilities

• Develop containerized (micro) services for a distributed multi-tenant system handling data and real-time events and network telemetry from multiple clouds.
• Design services, detail architectures, defend designs, and deliver robust implementations.
• Mentor junior engineers, new-grads, and interns.
• Own critical features and subsystems through the full software lifecycle from requirements to deployment and usage.
• Own operational aspects, writing maintainable software with automated tests and thorough validation.
• Collaborate with Product Management to refine requirements and exceed customer expectations.
• Develop deep understanding of customer problems through stakeholder interaction.
