Job summary

Intellect Solutions LLC seeks an experienced Cloud SME and Cloud Security Architect to design, secure, and govern enterprise cloud environments for federal programs. You will lead architecture, migration, cybersecurity, compliance, and operations across AWS/Azure with Zero Trust and RMF guidance.

The role emphasizes collaboration with ISSOs, assessors, and government stakeholders, requiring advanced cloud and security certifications and clearances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 10+ years IT experience with 5+ years in cloud architecture or security.
• Experience designing and securing AWS and/or Azure environments.
• Hands-on with NIST SP 800-53, RMF, FISMA, FedRAMP, ATO processes.
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and stakeholder skills.

Responsibilities

• Design secure, scalable cloud architectures across AWS and Azure.
• Develop cloud reference architectures, roadmaps, and design standards.
• Lead cloud migration and modernization of apps, platforms, and infra.
• Evaluate cloud services based on security, performance, cost, and mission needs.
• Design hybrid/multi-cloud environments including on-prem.
• Provide guidance on IaC, containers, microservices, serverless, and DevSecOps.
• Review diagrams, designs, configurations, and implementation plans.
• Develop and maintain enterprise cloud security standards and guardrails.
• Implement IAM, least privilege, MFA, and PAM controls.
• Support ATO processes and continuous monitoring activities.
