Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4+ years of cloud (AWS) experience.
• Experience with AWS security, control, and governance.
• Proven experience in security technologies (software security, data protection, infrastructure security, IAM).
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing technologies.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with SDLC and DevOps.
• Familiar with threat techniques and network analysis.
• Work authorization in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Lead security architecture to mature cloud security capabilities for United Airlines.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary Cyber team on end-to-end security infrastructure.
• Design, document, and maintain security-related documentation across lifecycle.
• Improve cyber controls, playbooks, and methods.
• Develop and promote security and resiliency architecture techniques and patterns.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align security with business needs.
• Assess risks of IaaS/PaaS/SaaS and on-prem architectures and propose mitigations.
• Define and enforce security standards/frameworks.
• Train development teams to incorporate CI/CD pipelines and vulnerability tools for cloud.
