Job summary

Entergy is seeking a Sr. Cybersecurity Solution Architect to lead security engineering for cloud and on-premises solutions, aligning with Entergy's information security strategy.

This hybrid role may be located in The Woodlands TX or other Entergy service territory locations and involves up to 25% travel to support complex, regulated environments in utilities. Responsibilities include evaluating cloud security across AWS/Azure/GCP, defining security requirements, and guiding teams to implement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information systems, engineering or related discipline.
• Master’s degree is a plus.
• ISACA/ISC2 certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cloud security solutions across lifecycle strategy, design, implementation, and operations.
• Lead security evaluation reports on cloud providers and cloud-native platforms.
• Establish security requirements for cloud-based solutions using standards (NIST CSF, CCM).
• Provide domain expertise in both public and private cloud and enterprise technology.
• Identify controls to drive cloud security framework aligned with risk.
