Job summary

Entergy is seeking a Security Architect to lead cloud security initiatives and network security efforts across hybrid environments. The role partners with the Enterprise Security Architect to align security practices with Entergy’s strategy and roadmap, acting as the face of information security for project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, cyber security, information systems, engineering or related discipline.
• ISACA/ISC2 certs are a plus; OSCP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cloud security solutions across lifecycle strategy, design, implementation, and operations.
• Lead and participate in security evaluation reports on cloud providers (AWS/Azure/GCP) and cloud platforms (PCF, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Ensure adoption and visibility of security posture across Entergy's networks.
• Establish security requirements for cloud-based network solutions by evaluating business strategies and standards (NIST CSF, NERC CIP).
• Provide input to policies, standards, and templates aligned with Entergy’s security roadmap.
• Perform assessments and threat modeling to ensure compliance with security requirements.
