Job summary

Trinnex is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join the Security Team and protect critical software systems for water utilities and infrastructure. The role integrates cybersecurity with DevSecOps to embed security in the SDLC, secure cloud-native workflows, and strengthen the overall security posture.

You will monitor for threats, conduct vulnerability assessments, and collaborate with engineering to implement secure coding practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent experience.
• 6 years of relevant cybersecurity experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced security monitoring, analyzing alerts and traffic anomalies; develop monitoring rules.
• Lead response efforts for complex incidents (e.g., APTs, data breaches) including forensics.
• Design and execute vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and simulated attack scenarios.
• Partner with IT and software development teams to remediate vulnerabilities and strengthen secure coding practices within the SDLC.
• Perform reviews of security controls and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks; lead remediation.
• Research threat actors and develop threat intelligence and defense strategies.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team capability development.
• Support development and execution of enterprise security strategies aligned with business objectives.
