Job summary

Trinnex is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join the Security Team, operating at the intersection of cybersecurity and DevSecOps to protect software systems that support water utilities and infrastructure.

In this role, you’ll focus on securing the software development lifecycle-embedding security controls, identifying vulnerabilities, and ensuring applications deployed in water environments are resilient against evolving threats.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity or related field.
• 6+ years of relevant cybersecurity experience.
• Willingness to travel domestically or internationally.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security, analyze complex alerts, and develop custom rules.
• Lead incident responses for complex threats, including forensics and root-cause analysis.
• Design and execute vulnerability assessments, pen tests, and simulated attacks.
• Partner with IT and software teams to remediate vulnerabilities and strengthen secure coding in the SDLC.
• Review security controls and regulatory compliance; drive remediation efforts.
• Research advanced threat actors and develop threat intelligence and defense strategies.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team capability development.
• Support enterprise security strategies aligned with business objectives.
