Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) in the Platform group, focusing on authentication and authorization. You will build scalable test automation, design test strategies for security-critical features, and collaborate across cloud services and customer-facing applications.

This hybrid role requires on-site presence 2–3 days per week at a posted location. You’ll work with Go, Python, Java, C++, and JavaScript/TypeScript across cloud architectures, microservices,

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as an SDET or Backend Developer.
• 3+ years building testing frameworks and tooling for Cloud SaaS products.
• Strong computer science fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, distributed systems).
• Experience with Cloud architectures, microservices and testing security-critical features.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable test automation frameworks for complex distributed systems.
• Develop comprehensive test strategies focusing on reliability, accuracy and performance at scale.
• Review engineering designs for testability and security implications.
• Create and maintain cloud-based test infrastructure simulating real deployment scenarios.
• Mentor team members on test automation best practices and security-conscious testing.
