Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) in the Platform product group responsible for authentication and authorization. You will architect and build scalable test automation frameworks for cloud services, drive testing initiatives, and mentor teammates in security-conscious testing practices.

The role is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days on-site at one of the posted locations and involves working with Go, Python, Java, C++, and JS/TS in a cloud environment to ensure

Qualifications

• 6+ years of combined experience as an SDET or Backend Developer.
• 3+ years building testing frameworks and tooling for Cloud SaaS products.
• Strong CS fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, distributed systems).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and testing in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable test automation frameworks for complex distributed systems.
• Develop comprehensive test strategies focusing on reliability, accuracy and performance at scale.
• Review engineering designs for testability and security implications.
• Create and maintain cloud-based test infrastructure simulating real deployment scenarios.
• Build tools for testing agent-cloud interactions, data pipelines and API integrations.
• Drive root cause analysis for production issues and implement automated tests to prevent regressions.
