CrowdStrike, Inc. is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) within the Platform product group, focusing on authentication and authorization. You will scale test automation across cloud services, agent-cloud interactions, and data pipelines to ensure security and reliability.

You will design scalable frameworks, review designs for testability, and mentor teammates in security-minded testing practices. This hybrid role requires 2-3 days on-site weekly at a posted location.

Formación

• 6+ years of combined experience as an SDET or Backend Developer.
• 3+ years building testing frameworks and tooling for Cloud SaaS products.
• Strong CS fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, distributed systems).
• Expertise in at least one modern language: Go, Python, Java, C++, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Deep understanding of cloud architectures, microservices and REST, gRPC APIs.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and testing in cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience with cloud performance testing and monitoring tools (JMeter, Gatling, New Relic, Datadog).
• Proven experience leveraging AI to improve workflows and outcomes.
• Degree in Computer Engineering / STEM or similar.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement scalable test automation frameworks for complex distributed systems.
• Develop test strategies for security-critical features focusing on reliability and performance at scale.
• Review designs for testability and security implications.
• Create and maintain cloud-based test infrastructure simulating real deployments.
• Build tools for testing agent-cloud interactions and data pipelines.
• Drive root cause analysis for production issues and prevent regressions.
• Mentor teammates on best practices in test automation and security-oriented testing.
