Job summary

Oracle is seeking an experienced engineer to build distributed control plane software that automates networking across OCI data centers and WAN. This role emphasizes deep systems knowledge, fault tolerance, and scalable network automation at hyper-scale.

You will design, implement, and optimize unified control plane components, mentor engineers, and partner with SRE, hardware, security, and product teams to deliver end-to-end features for Oracle’s cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain components of OCI network control plane for data center and WAN.
• Develop resilient, scalable control systems using routing, SDN, and traffic engineering.
• Implement algorithms for topology discovery, route computation, and fault recovery.
• Write robust systems code in Go, C++, Rust, or Java.
• Lead reviews, mentor engineers, and collaborate with SRE, security, and product teams.
