Job summary

Prudentia Sciences is seeking a hands-on Senior DevOps Engineer to build and own the infrastructure, deployment, and reliability foundation of our platform as we scale. This role focuses on designing cloud infrastructure (AWS), implementing IaC, CI/CD, observability, and security to support our high-demand biopharma data workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in CS/SE or related field.
• Proven AWS production infrastructure design, deployment, and operation.
• Hands-on IaC experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Experience with monitoring/observability and MTTR reduction.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (Postgres, MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Security best practices and compliance awareness for healthcare or life sciences is valuable.
• Proficient in scripting (Python, Bash, Go).
• Strong collaboration with software and ML engineers and product teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and own scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS) and IaC.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for frontend, backend, and ML services.
• Implement observability, logging, and alerting to reduce MTTR.
• Drive reliability engineering with SLOs/SLAs and incident response.
• Ensure security, access controls, and data protection across the stack.
• Monitor and optimize cloud spend and performance.
• Collaborate with engineers and product teams to translate needs into infrastructure investments.
• Provide tooling and self-service workflows to simplify deployment and testing.
