Job summary

Stat Sniper Inc. is seeking a senior platform engineer to own the multi-cloud platform that underpins our services. You will operate production workloads across AWS and GCP, tune Kubernetes clusters, and manage data stores and storage with reliability and cost in mind.

Qualifications

• Senior experience operating production workloads on AWS and GCP.
• Hands-on Kubernetes with autoscaling, rollouts, and debugging.
• Experience with terraform or IaC and container build pipelines.
• Strong security fundamentals: IAM and secret management.
• Proactive observability and cost-management mindset.

Responsibilities

• Run and tune Kubernetes across GKE and EKS, with serverless workloads.
• Own data layer operations: manage Cloud SQL/Postgres, backups, failover.
• Manage S3/Cloud Storage lifecycle, encryption, and IAM.
• Own CI/CD end-to-end; ensure safe production deployments.
• Build observability: metrics, logs, traces, alerts tied to user impact.
• Manage infrastructure as code across clouds; treat cloud spend as metric.
