Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a Senior Production Engineer to take hands-on ownership of critical tooling that drives reliability and delivery success. You will design, implement, deploy, and operate systems that improve velocity, availability, and safety across the cloud stack.

You will lead end-to-end projects, maintain long-lived systems, and strengthen operational foundations through durable engineering investments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years engineering experience building and operating distributed systems or cloud platforms.
• Ability to debug complex production issues end-to-end across services, infra, and automation.
• Strong programming or scripting ability (Python, Go, or similar) with production services experience.
• Deep knowledge of cloud-native technologies and distributed system patterns, especially Kubernetes.
• Experience with modern observability stacks: metrics, tracing, structured logs, SLOs/SLIs, incident lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Take hands-on ownership of critical systems and frameworks; drive architecture and long-term evolution.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of projects that improve availability, scalability, and automation.
• Build and maintain observability, alerting, automated remediation, and resilience testing.
• Participate in incident response; conduct deep root-cause investigations and implement fixes.
• Improve runbooks, deployment workflows, and operational tooling to harden production readiness.
• Eliminate single points of failure; reduce toil through automation and system redesigns.
• Ship production code regularly in Python, Go, or similar languages; participate in on-call rotations.
• Maintain and mature long-term projects and frameworks owned by the team.
• Collaborate with platform teams to ensure features integrate with reliability tooling.
