Job summary

Aurora is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Cloud Platform team to build and maintain our cloud infrastructure and development platform. You will drive Kubernetes upgrades, build developer tooling, and collaborate across teams to move projects forward.

Ideal candidates have strong Go/Python/C++ production experience, deep Kubernetes knowledge, and comfort with AWS/EKS. This role supports a hybrid work model in the Mountain View area and related U.S. locations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years demonstrated experience shipping commercial products and services.
• Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS/EKS preferred).
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes internals.
• Experience building and operating services on Kubernetes.
• Experience writing production code in Go, Python or C++.

Responsibilities

• Drive and manage upgrades and improvements to Kubernetes infrastructure.
• Build developer-facing tooling and infrastructure to improve development velocity.
