Job summary

Sapsf is seeking a Senior Technical Specialist to design, build, and scale cloud-native infrastructure on AWS, focusing on Kubernetes, EKS, and automation. You will implement infrastructure as code with Terraform, manage CI/CD pipelines, monitor production systems, and collaborate with engineering, security, and operations teams to improve reliability and performance.

Strong scripting in Python or shell, deep Linux fundamentals, and experience with observability tools like CloudWatch,

Qualifications

• Expert-level experience with Terraform, including modules, state management, workspaces, and reusable infrastructure patterns.
• Excellent knowledge of Amazon EKS and Kubernetes architecture, deployments, services, ingress, autoscaling, and cluster operations.
• Hands-on experience with AWS MSK or Kafka-based streaming platforms.
• Strong Linux/Unix foundations, networking, DNS, load balancing, and security fundamentals.
• Experience with monitoring/alerting tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure on AWS.
• Manage and operate Kubernetes workloads using Amazon EKS.
• Develop, maintain, and improve infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Support and optimize cloud-native services including AWS MSK, networking, compute, storage, IAM, and monitoring services.
• Build automation using Python, Unix shell scripts, and other scripting or programming languages.
• Improve reliability, availability, performance, and operational efficiency across production systems.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot incidents, and participate in root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment practices and production readiness.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.
• Support security, compliance, backup, disaster recovery, and cost optimization initiatives.
