Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure across multiple regions. You will implement IaC with Terraform and CloudFormation, build Kubernetes platforms on EKS, and orchestrate CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, GitLab, and Jenkins.

The role requires strong Linux skills, Python/Bash/PowerShell scripting, and applying DevSecOps practices. You will improve observability with Datadog and CloudWatch and lead incident response to boost

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Five to six years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using IaC to support scalable, secure platforms.
• Architect and operate multi-region AWS environments with resiliency and continuity.
• Manage and optimize core AWS services including EKS, ECS, EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, Route 53, VPC, and IAM.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab, and Jenkins.
• Develop automation solutions using Python, Bash, and PowerShell to streamline provisioning and deployments.
• Build, administer, and enhance Kubernetes platforms on Amazon EKS with Helm charts and security controls.
• Implement observability practices utilizing Datadog and CloudWatch to improve operational reliability.
• Lead incident response and root cause analysis to improve platform resiliency.
