Job summary

Google Cloud is hiring a Platform Customer Engineer to partner with technical Sales teams and act as the customer’s primary technical partner. You will lead technical conversations, troubleshoot questions, run PoCs and demos, and architect cross-pillar cloud solutions to address business needs.

You will drive technical wins and shape delivery and consumption plans. You will collaborate with product marketing and engineering to stay ahead of industry trends, escalate issues, and present practical

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience with customer facing technical role.
Experience engaging with technical stakeholders or executive leaders.
Experience with cloud engineering, on-premise engineering, virtualization, or containerization platforms.
Experience in programming languages, debugging, systems design, prototyping, demos, or customer workshops.

Responsibilities

Develop and own the technical account plan and strategy.
Show value of Google Cloud via complex demos, pilots and workshops.
Architect cross-pillar solutions and define delivery plans.
Support pricing activities and transition final delivery plan to implementation teams.
Monitor progress and aid cross-functional teams through ramp, delivery, migration.
