Job summary

Thorndale Partners seeks a Sr. Cloud Dev-Ops Engineer to drive cloud platform initiatives, automation, and CI/CD excellence. The role emphasizes Kubernetes, IaC, and security with a strong focus on cost management and reliability.

The ideal candidate will work across Azure and Google Cloud, mentor engineers, and contribute to a fast-paced, innovative environment with a robust bonus plan and career growth opportunities. Four days in office in the Nashville region are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in systems, infrastructure, cloud, or platform engineering
• 2+ years with public cloud and infrastructure automation
• Proficient in Python, PowerShell, and Bash for automation
• Experience with CI/CD platforms and GitOps workflows
• Hands-on with Kubernetes, Helm, and managed services (AKS/GKE)

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure performance issues
• Design, build, deploy, and test infrastructure components and OS
• Maintain security, redundancy, backup, and logging strategies
• Develop automation scripts and runbooks, document configurations
• Lead CI/CD pipelines for infra changes and drift detection
• Operate and upgrade managed Kubernetes platforms and clusters
• Own vulnerability remediation and patching per SLAs
• Collaborate with architecture and security teams on automation standards
