Job summary

Ryan in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design and implement a fully automated CI/CD ecosystem across AWS, Azure, and on‑prem environments. You will blend software development with cloud infrastructure, automation, and platform engineering to help engineering teams ship faster and more reliably.

You will build the Internal Developer Portal, enable golden paths, integrate CI/CD with cloud, IAM, and observability, and drive secure, scalable networking with Terraform and IaC.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering, DevOps, cloud or platform engineering.
• 6+ years CI/CD tools experience (Harness, CloudBees, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Deep Java and/or Node.js development experience.
• Strong AWS/Azure knowledge incl. networking and serverless.
• Terraform and IaC expertise.
• Knowledge of secure software delivery and Git workflows.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Champion a DevOps culture focused on automation, improvement, collaboration, and transparency.
• Partner with development teams to improve reliability, performance, and deployment practices.
• Architect and implement an Internal Developer Portal (IDP) for self-service infra and deployment templates.
• Integrate CI/CD with cloud infrastructure, IAM, and observability platforms.
• Design scalable cloud-native architectures and governance through policy-as-code.
• Lead PoC initiatives for new tools and automation processes.
