Job summary

SiriusXM is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Cloud Foundation team in New York to enable scalable, secure cloud infrastructure. You will implement standards using IaC, optimize costs, and collaborate with Networking, Security, and Development teams to align with business goals.

Ideal candidates have deep AWS experience, Linux proficiency, and strong programming skills in TypeScript or Python to automate and manage large-scale environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Cloud Infrastructure or related roles.
• 2+ years AWS services experience (EC2, S3, ELB, VPC, IAM).
• 2+ years Linux experience.
• Automation tooling experience with IaC (CloudFormation, Terraform).
• Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage foundational cloud infrastructure using IaC to enforce standards.
• Improve transparency for other teams on Cloud Platform usage and guidelines.
• Leverage AWS expertise to support current and future infrastructure needs.
• Drive cost optimization initiatives without compromising performance or security.
• Collaborate with Networking, Security, Development and other Platform Engineering teams.
