Job summary

SiriusXM Radio, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Cloud Foundation team in Washington, DC. You’ll help build and manage foundational cloud infrastructure, using IaC to maintain security, reliability, and cost efficiency.

You’ll collaborate with Networking, Security, Development, and other Platform Engineering teams to align with business goals and best practices. A strong AWS background and Linux experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in Cloud Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles.
• 2+ years of AWS services experience (EC2, S3, ELB, VPC, IAM) or equivalent.
• 2+ years running Linux-based systems with strong Linux knowledge.
• Proficiency in Typescript, Python, Bash for automation and infra management.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage foundational cloud infrastructure using IaC.
• Improve transparency and guide other teams on platform capabilities.
• Leverage AWS expertise to support current and future infra needs.
• Optimize infrastructure costs without compromising performance or security.
