Job summary

SiriusXM is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Platform Engineering to develop reusable platform components and support cloud infrastructure with a focus on standardization and AI-enabled tooling. You will work closely with internal teams to drive productivity and scalability across our engineering org.

You will help evolve CDK/CloudFormation patterns, influence architecture, and mentor developers. This role emphasizes cost awareness and collaboration with FinOps in a fast-paced audio tech

Qualifications

Fluency in at least two programming languages.
Experience building cloud-native software in large teams.
Passion for improving developer experience and productivity.

Responsibilities

Write high-quality, maintainable code for platform tooling and infrastructure.
Perform code reviews to ensure best practices and quality.
Author and review technical design documents for architecture direction.
Collaborate on shared components and libraries for standardized infrastructure.
Review UX and product requirements with product managers.
Contribute to development and support of general developer tooling.
Provide architectural guidance to teams building on the platform.
Work with FinOps to optimize cost of platform tools.
Integrate AI-driven tooling to enhance efficiency and reliability.
