Job summary

SiriusXM Radio, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Cloud Foundation team to build and manage foundational cloud infrastructure on AWS.

You will implement IaC standards, optimize costs, and partner with Networking, Security, and Development teams to align with business goals. Responsibilities include expanding AWS environments, improving transparency of the platform, and ensuring high availability and security while driving cost efficiencies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Cloud Infrastructure, Platform Eng., DevOps, or SRE roles.
• 2+ years of AWS experience (EC2, S3, ELB, VPC, IAM) or equivalent.
• 2+ years running Linux-based systems with strong Linux knowledge.
• Proficiency in Typescript, Python, Bash for automation.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (CloudFormation/CDK, Terraform).

Responsibilities

• Build and manage foundational cloud infrastructure using IaC.
• Improve transparency of the Cloud platform for other teams.
• Leverage AWS expertise to support current and future needs.
• Optimize infrastructure costs without sacrificing performance or security.
• Collaborate with Networking, Security, Development and Platform Engineering teams.
