Job summary

SiriusXM is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Cloud Foundation team in New York. You will build and manage foundational cloud infrastructure using IaC, leveraging AWS services while ensuring security and cost-effectiveness.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to evolve the Cloud platform, improve transparency, and implement best practices in deployment and operations. Strong Linux and programming skills required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in Cloud Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles.
• 2+ years AWS services (EC2, S3, ELB, VPC, IAM) or equivalent.
• 2+ years Linux experience with advanced Linux knowledge.
• Proficiency in Typescript, Python, Bash for automation.
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools (CloudFormation/CDK, Terraform).
• Version control using Git with GitHub or GitLab.
