SitusAMC is hiring a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to lead and mentor within the Cloud Platform Engineering team. You will design and automate infrastructure with Terraform on AWS, build advanced CI/CD pipelines, and ensure security and scalability across multi-customer environments.

The role emphasizes cloud-native architecture using Kubernetes, Istio/Linkerd, and Karpenter, with a focus on automation, security, and performance.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years industry/relevant experience; typically 2+ years AVP-level or external equivalent.
• 10-15 years in cloud automation and infrastructure development preferred.
• AWS Security & Networking: 8+ years managing IAM, permission sets, NACLs, security controls.
• Terraform mastery with extensive hands-on experience.
• 6+ years building CI/CD pipelines and GitOps (ArgoCD, FluxCD) and automation platforms.
• Kubernetes and service mesh expertise (Istio, Linkerd).
• Cloud-native scaling with Karpenter for automated API scaling.
• 6+ years coding in Python or Shell for automation.
• AWS services proficiency: EKS, EC2, RDS, Lambda, Step Functions, VPC, IAM.

Mansioni

• Contribute as individual contributor and mentor within Cloud Platform Engineering.
• Design, build, and maintain automated infrastructure with Terraform and AWS services.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, FluxCD across architectures.
• Design AWS-aligned architecture with security standards (NIST, NYDFS).
• Deliver solutions in multi-customer environments with speed and precision.
• Develop tactical IaC strategy across products with varying maturity.
• Implement and manage IAM, Security Groups, NACLs, and VPC configurations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on design decisions and provide leadership updates.
• Architect and develop new AWS services using Kubernetes and service mesh.
• Establish infrastructure design best practices, templates, and processes.
