Referment is partnering with a top global hedge fund to appoint a Senior Cloud Engineer for its New York infrastructure team. You will design, build and operate an advanced cloud platform across AWS and Azure, focusing on resilience, security and automation.

You will influence architecture, runbooks and engineering standards, deliver IaC with Terraform/Ansible, containers with Docker/Kubernetes, and work with global colleagues across regions to scale a performance-critical investment platform.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering, or similar hands-on roles.
• Experience designing, deploying and managing infrastructure across AWS and Azure.
• Hands-on with IaC using Terraform and Ansible; scripting in Python/PowerShell/Bash.

Responsabilités

• Design, deploy and maintain highly available cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure.
• Build cloud-native platforms with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Develop infrastructure as code and automated deployment pipelines.
• Ensure security, observability and cost optimisation across multi-region setup.
