Job summary

Paragon Alpha - Hedge Fund Talent Business is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to design and maintain secure, scalable Azure infrastructure in a high-performance financial environment. You will manage core Azure services, implement IaC with Terraform, secure configurations, and work with Windows Server and Exchange Online.

The role requires strong MS Azure expertise and hands-on cloud experience in enterprise settings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Azure-focused cloud experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Cloud management.
• Proficient in M365 E5 and Exchange Online.
• Knowledge of IaaS/PaaS, security controls.

We are working with a leading hedge fund, looking to expand their platform team. They're looking for someone to help build and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure within a high-performance financial environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Build and maintain secure, reliable and scalable Azure infrastructure
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth delivery of projects
• Management of cloud core services; networks topologies, storage, load balancing, virtual machines, databases, containers, messaging, server-less, logging and monitoring
• DevOps with infrastructure as code; Hashi Corp Terraform and Git
• Configuration of security controls; Firewalls, Policy, ACLS, IAM, Encryption
• Configuration, management, and monitoring of Azure Cloud Adoption Framework technologies
• Configuration, management, and monitoring of Microsoft 365 E5 technologies
• Configuration, management, and monitoring of Microsoft Exchange Online
• Support of Windows Server and client Operating systems

Key requirements:

• 5 years plus of experience specialising in Microsoft Azure technologies
• Experience managing Microsoft Cloud
• Experience managing Microsoft Exchange
• Extensive knowledge of M365 E5 suite of services
• PaaS services
