Job summary

Modivcare seeks an experienced Platform Architect to lead cloud-native design and hands-on delivery on AWS. You will define patterns, govern multi-account environments, and drive IaC with Pulumi and AWS CDK, aligning architecture with business goals.

You will mentor teams, review changes, and ensure security, cost efficiency, and reliability across platforms used to support critical healthcare services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in cloud architecture/engineering with enterprise AWS delivery.
• Experience with multi-account AWS, governance and IaC.
• Healthcare or regulated environments preferred.
• Experience with AI/ML infra and FinOps tools preferred.
• AWS Certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define cloud-native architecture patterns for compute, networking, storage, and security on AWS.
• Build and maintain IaC with Pulumi; use AWS CDK where suitable.
• Lead delivery with engineering teams, review PRs, and ensure architectural fidelity.
• Create handoff packages: diagrams, IaC repos, runbooks, and compliance docs.
